Biography

Chloe was born at 31 weeks gestation and like her sisters was placed on the at risk register and was removed into care immediately. She spent several months in hospital due to apnoeic episodes and failure to thrive. She had a laryngeal stent fitted at 4 months and an nasojejunal tube fitted at the same time. She sees 27 different specialists.
She was adopted by us at easter and joined her sisters :)
She has been admitted a number of times recently (in fact I'm filling this in at her bedside!) for a range of issues, it seems as though none of the muscles in her digestive system works, and she aspirates food and fluid both on intake and reflux.
She has recently undergone a fundoplication and had a peg fitted but has now been admitted for what appears to be a perforated gut.

She is non mobile and non verbal and like her sisters is life limited.
Chloe is a beautiful little girl who likes everyone (except nurses!) and is almost always smiling. She loves bunny rabbits and our greyhound, and adores her adopted big brother.
