Thank you sooooooo much for the beautiful quilt we received yesterday. K and ourselves were thrilled with it and moved by your kindness. Thank you to everyone who so kindly and lovingly stitched all These hearts K is planned to go into hospital soon so we are going to take it with us.

Thank you once again to all you AMAZING people.

Biography

K is in foster care. She has several life-long and life-threatening diagnoses She has been so brave throughout her life as she has always been in pain and endured, many painful operations and procedures. She has developed many further conditions as she has grown older. She had major surgery recently which initially went well but her health has deteriorated dramatically with many hospital admissions. K is now in palliative care.

Thank you for considering K for a quilt. She is such an amazing young lady, who is an inspiration for her bravery. Anyone who meets her goes away smiling, she brings joy wherever she goes. It has been a privilege for us to have been allowed to be her parents. She might not be our daughter legally but she is within our hearts.
