Thank you

Today was a special day in our house. The girls received their quilts. Thank you so much to everyone who put in all the hard work to stitch a square and make the quilts and cards for Sophie and Evie. These are extra special as one of my best friends Anna did a square for each of the girls. We are all in awe and can't stop looking at them and showing anyone who comes by the house. Thank you these are very special as are all of you and will be treasured

Biography

Evie was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at 3 weeks old via the heel prick test.It is a genetic disease, both parents have to be carriers of the faulty gene. There were no signs of cystic fibrosis when she was born and there are no other family members apart from her older sister (who was diagnosed after Evie was born) who have cystic fibrosis.
She currently takes regular medication and vitamins to stay healthy. She also has a vigorous daily regime of nebulisers and physiotherapy to ensure her lungs are kept as healthy as they can be.
