Biography

We found out Autumn-Lily had spina bifida when I went for my 20week scan but to what extent they couldn't tell us. Autumn was born in 2018 via c-section with quite a large section of skin missing on her back. She was taken to Birmingham Children's Hospital 4 hours after birth and had a 5 hour operation the next day to close her back. She stayed in hospital for 7 days after this which is amazing.

She's had a further 2 operations on her feet called tenotomies. Autumn is a very brave and clever girl. She has taken to her wheelchair super fast and is now getting about. She's a happy, confident little girl who doesn't let anything get in her way. She's so determined and already very independent.
