Biography

We found out at the 20 week scan that Mason had hypoplastic left heart syndrome. When he was born he was transferred from Leeds to Birmingham and had his first surgery at 4 days old. He stayed in hospital for 7 weeks.

At 4 months old he had his second open heart surgery and was in hospital for 7 days that time.

At 3 years old he had another surgery to have a pacemaker fitted and later that year he spent Xmas in hospital after having more surgery. His latest surgery was 31/10/2019. He was in for 8 weeks as his wound got infected and he had to go back to theatre 9 times during that time for his wound to be cleaned
