Biography

Alia was born perfectly fine but got an infection when she was just over 1 year old.

I woke up to Alia floppy and unresponsive. In 2021 Alia was rushed to Preston Hospital where they tried to regain her consciousness. They then said there was nothing more they could do and had to put Alia into a coma and send her to Alder Hey Children's Hospital where she stayed for 3 months. Alia had glandular fever and adeno virus but instead of Alia being ill her body attacked itself and not the infection which caused her to have inflammation on her brain and seizures.

Alia has been left with acute brain injury, she is very developmentally delayed and we are trying to regain some of her strengths back.
