Biography

When Luci was born everything was brilliant. But when she was 3 months old that`s when the crying in pain and rashes started and she had the first visit to the hospital.

Within the first year of this happening the doctors diagnosed her with chronic colic, reflux and an allergy to milk powder. When Luci was 18 months old we nearly lost her and the doctor said if we had left it another 10 minutes she would have been dead, but once again the doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong. But she was getting better!

Again when she was 3 another hospital trip happened when they thought it was meningitis because of the rashes, but it wasn't and once again we had no clue why this kept on happening.

Fast forward to March 2021 we was put in contact with a specialist in Addenbrookes Hospital when he finally diagnosed her with Cold Urticaria which means she is allergic to anything cold. Finally we had some answers and she was put on medication for life.

Things calmed down for a while and things started to look up which was brilliant but at the end of 2022/beginning 2023 things started to get worse again and the specialist added a new diagnosis on top - she was also diagnosed with Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria which means she's allergic to anything, everything and nothing! A trial of injections was given as well as all the other medication which is working and still working to this day and so far no admissions back to the hospital.
