The following is for all Quilts
Fabric - Light colour aida - white, off white, cream or ecru. NO COLOURS
Count size-11,14,16 or 18 count AIDA (no linen please)
Dimensions - 13 x 13 inches, if you have a piece that is 12 x 18 inches, feel free to cut it down to 13 and use it, but make sure your pattern is central.
Pattern size - can be NO LARGER than 9x9 inches, but can be less. If it is too small please put a border round it.
Please feel free to make the pattern unique in other ways (colours, borders etc). Making the pattern personal helps if there is accidental duplication of the pattern.
Stitches - Please DO NOT use any LONG stitches.
Theme squares - When signing up to stitch a square for a particular child, please choose a pattern to fit the theme required and fill out the 'sign up' form found at the bottom of the child's page. PLEASE WAIT for a confirmation email before you start as i need to make sure nobody else is already stitching that pattern for that quilt. Please remember
these squares have a DUE DATE listed on the child's page. Any squares recieved after the date will be used in an 'Any Child or 'Emergency' quilt.
Any child squares - you don't need to notify me when doing these squares, when you send it just enclose a note saying it is for any child.
Signing squares - please sign your work at the bottom close to your stitching.
Name and Location is fine. If you live outside the UK please add your country.
Square care - Please state whether your square is washed or unwashed when you send it to us.
