Thank you very much for the wonderful emergency quilt you kindly sent to Gracie-Mae!

Currently in local hospital and about to transfer to our main hospital! Then settle in on 4th lot of chemo!

This amazing quilt made Gracie-Mae's eyes light up and a grin from ear to ear! It's going to help get us through the next 11 months treatment and then be such a memory finder from then on

Biography

Gracie-Mae is now 10months old, at 9 months after being treated for an ear infection she was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma a type of cancer! We spent the first 2 weeks in hospital while everything was decided for the plan forward! Gracie has the aggressive gene and is currently receiving chemo every 10 days until the end of September! She is a very happy, friendly and cuddly little princess and this is not stopping her being her! She started loosing her hair last Friday so hair bands and hats are out! Gracie Mae spends 3days a week in addenbrooks until the next stages of her year long treatment when she will spend more time. The next step will be surgery of the primary mass in her abdomen, she has another on the skull which has trapped the nerves of her right eye, 2 more in her liver, and it's all in her bone marrow.
