Biography

Bella was diagnosed in June 2006 and we were told that she had only a very small amount of brain tissue and would be unlikely to live to her first birthday. Bella had a VP shunt inserted which transformed her life and made her much happier and more comfortable. Bella has had multiple surgeries on her feet and hips and had a feeding tube placed in 2008.

Bella is 7 and has come a long way since her dismal prognosis. She attends her special school 3 days a week and loves swimming and music. Her vision is limited but she loves the sensory room and lights.
