Biography

Tanesha was born a big baby at 9lb 10 she seemed to be a good baby sleeping most of the time except for feeds but as the days went by she became breathless and losing too much weight so we went to the nearest hospital to be checked, when the doctor came he said she had reflux and gave us gaviscon and sent us home to come back the following monday if it didn't work, the monday came so off we went as her resps were now in the 70s and she was now vomiting every feed back up when the doctor came in he looked her over and my world fell apart they found a very loud systolic murmer so we was transfered to leeds the next morning where she was diagnosed with complete atrioventricular septal defect she had open heart surgery at 5 weeks old and after fighting sepsis and nec of the bowel 8 week in hospital we went home she was doing very well until she was 18 month old when her heart rate dropped very low and she required a pacemaker for complete heart block she is on 6 monthly checks she is 100% pacemaker dependant and is doing quite well at the moment shes my hero
