Biography

Owen was born on 17/12/2004 all seemed normal! Then around 2/3 months I noticed he wasn't doing what he should have been doing at that age, also noticed his eyes weren't right they weren't focusing on us or on his toys! So we started to investigate I took him to AandE and voiced my concerns! They did some checks and we were then told that he possibly had some problems! We then had to go for an MRI scan privately as the NHS said I would have to wait for 6 months!!! We then found out that Owen had a brain malformation which would lead to cerebral palsy, epilepsy, global development delay, blindness and 4 limb motor disorder! He his now a full time wheelchair user, can not sit or stand unaided, he is non verbal, severally visually impaired and has epilepsy. But despite all that he has to cope with he is a very happy laid back little boy who we all adore and love so very much!
