Biography

Zayn was jaundiced from one month old with enlarged liver & spleen after lots of blood tests, scans, MRI he was diagnosed with niemann pick disease type c.

Niemann pick type c is an extremely rare metabolic condition causing a breakdown in the central nervous system. A build up of cholesterol causing structural and functional, damage in cells and tissue. once the neurological side deteriorates the outcome is loss of speech, loss of motor skills, seizures, dementia and eventually stop swallowing. Sadly it's fatal & children with this don't live beyond early childhood. Unfortunately there is no cure at present
