Biography

We had a growth scan at 36 weeks with ruby as was on the small side. They noticed there was extra water on the brain. Were to sides if the brain hadn't joined up. Absent corpus coloum.
We was scared not knowing what to expect.

My daughter ruby was born Halloween 2009 at 1.30am weighing 6ib 1oz. We herd her cry was great we thought nothing of her brain issue.
Then docter done check and she wouldn't open her eyes for 5 days we stayed. We got send home. Then we noticed her eyes were black asked her Heath vister she wasn't worried but we were. Took her to my gp and she referred us straight to eye clinic to find out she has anirida! Meaning no iris of the eye. She said she's vi/blind. Then went under genetics team to see if there was a reason!! When that came she has been dignosed with wagr syndrome! She has high chance developing Wilms tumer (fingers crossed all good so far) she has scans every 3 months to rule anything out. Ruby's is 5 this year and is doing great. She's in a great school and really coming on great still very delayed but understands lots more than she lets on.
