Thank you

Just wanted to say a massive thank you from my Scarlett and my Eva! Both received their lovely quilts this morning and they are over the moon! Pointing out to me who and what is in the different squares. They are beautiful quilts and they will be taking them for any hospital stays in future as well as on their beds now! Thank you all so very much for making them so happy

Biography

Scarlett was born full term on the same birthday as me. She left hospital at a few days old then ended up back in one day later. Scarlett never settled she never seemed contented she ended up having iv antibiotics at 5 days old which was very traumatic for her and as first time parents she had to endure a lumbar puncture and so much more at so young an age. Scarlett didn't gain any weight as a baby she just kept loosing weight constantly. We ended up in hospital again and Scarlett was diagnosed with a milk allergy and changed onto a special milk. Still something didn't aeem right and at 6 months old Scarlett was still the size of a newborn baby. We googled everything and asked for scarett to be tested for cystic fibrosis. We were laughed at initially until finally they gave in and on the 8th November 2012 the day after her sweat test Scarlett was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. Since then Scarlett had been quite well she has had 2 admissions to hospital for iv antibiotics and is permanently on a nebuliser now for recurrent chest infections. Scarlett also had lobar emphasyma on X-ray and is under close watch to make sure her lung doesn't get any worse. She's had to have ct scans and bronchocophys and she's been put under general anastetic a few times and she's only 3. Despite this she is always the life an soul of any party she has a way about her that makes everyone laugh she likes to make people happy and make people smile. She's a very caring child with a kind heart. She's very loud! She likes to dance and command attention of the room. She's a true character and a lovely little girl.
