Biography

Josh was born with CMMD. He had a very bleak prognosis. I was his nurse. I took him home when he was 5 months old and subsequently adopted him. He has defied all predictions. He can walk, talk a little and feeds orally having got to a point where he can manage very well without a feeding tube. He has severe learning difficulties and autism. He is my pride and joy. I have managed to enroll him on a research programme in Utah, USA. We hope they will find a treatment. We are due to go again in November.
