Biography

Finley has a rare condition that has made his body reject fats. We were diagnosed with this allergy in 2014 when we had a long stay admission at GOSH. There is no-one known within England to have this. Finley is tube fed and has no safe foods. He is fed a fat free formula and has to go into Great Ormond Street between 1-3 times a week to have fat infused into his heart. He has to be in bed throughout the infusion that takes 5 hours. Finley has always shown such bravery and would love to be a superhero. If Finley has fats into his gut he bleeds internally. From birth he has had problems but it was only in 2012 he was diagnosed with IBD.
