Biography

Elizabeth was my final baby. My whole pregnancy was text book a dream, not one problem. My waters broke on the bus of all places and I went straight up to the hospital. I was not having any contractions at all so they sent me home hopeful they would start and I would have Elizabeth safety. No contractions arrived so I went into hospital the following morning to be induced. All was going to plan until her heart rate dropped dramitically and kept dropping until it disappeared completely. I was rushed to theatre for an emergency section. She was born and taken straight to SCBU where she remained until Boxing Day.

We got her diagnoses of CF on Christmas Day (of all days) it is a hard condition to live with and I am so thankful for all the support and care we have received not only during her stay in SCBU but the continued support we continue to receive now. Elizabeth is such a happy little girl who never stops surprising us all.
