Biography

Dems (as she's known to us) came to live with me at 6 weeks old with some quite horrific injuries. It became quite evident that she wasn't meeting her milestones and that there was quite severe delay. We were told that she would never walk or talk. She was diagnosed with epilepsy from the age of 2 years. She spent a lot of time in and out of hospital failing to thrive having no interest in food.

She attends a special school and is going from strength to strength. Those eating issues have certainly gone out of the window. She adores going for a hot chocolate and a cake. She loves all animals. We spend a lot of time at farms or the zoo where she can be found kissing the cows. She runs like the wind although still unsteady with her walking. She does not let this stop her. She is having a terrible time with her epilepsy as it seems we are running out of options with medicines. She is a beautiful little girl with a very cheeky personality with the biggest laugh.
