Biography

Charlie was born full term with no problems at all. At around 4 months old he had a seizure which the hospital thought was down to his temperature. He then when on to have another seizure so they did an MRI scan which showed he had lissencephaly, which means smooth brain. His brain has not developed the way it should.

Charlie is a lovely happy little boy. He requires 24 hour care and depends on us for all his needs. He can’t walk, talk, use his hands, sit, stand, basically everything we take for granted. Charlie suffers a lot with chest infections and bowel problems and has been in hospital numerous times. We just take each day as it comes with Charlie and enjoy our happy smiley boy.
