Thank you

Isn't it out of this world?
Has really brightened a tough few months

So much work goes into these quilts and I am honoured that Amy was chosen for one. She deserves it. Our poor little astronaut hasn't had a nice day

Biography

Amy is almost 5, she has severe quadriplegic cerebral palsy following a very traumatic birth via emergency c-section. She was full term and the pregnancy was perfect. Her heart rate slowed whilst her mummy was in labour, she was deprived of oxygen for 8 minutes and spent her first 6 weeks of life in hospital.

Her type of cp is athetoid/dyskinetic. She is non-verbal, non-mobile, and is 100% jejunally fed via a GJ button. She has epilepsy which is currently not well controlled. She adores music (especially nursery rhymes), days out with her family, and really loves school which she started this September.
