Biography

Naomi didn't show many signs of autism from birth apart from being a little behind in sitting up and walking. It wasn't until she was 1 year old that Naomi showed signs of autism with struggling with day to day things. Naomi first had a seizure at 6 months of age which the doctors originally thought were febrile convulsions. She spent many a time in and out of the hospital trying to figure out her epilepsy and still to this day nobody knows what her triggers are.
Naomi is a wonderful little girl that
struggles with day to day life. She has severe autism and epilepsy and this means she can have lots of seizures and be in and out of the hospital. Naomi loves to read books and sing and dance.Her favourite things to do are swimming and joining in with her school choir. She is pretty much non verbal but can get her point across with odd words and music/makaton.
