Biography

Jodi was born 4 weeks early. She had to have an operation when she was one day old. Her bowel was not formed properly and she had to have an ileostomy and colostomy bag. She was in intensive care for several weeks.

She was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at 2 weeks old after complications at birth. She had her ileostomy reversed at 7 weeks. She has ongoing daily medication and physiotherapy. She had a feeding tube at 9 years old after failing to put weight on after her dad passed away from cancer.

She has had many stays in hospital for antibiotics and a couple of operations. She has recently been diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis related diabetes. She is doing well at the moment, she is a strong individual and takes her daily routine very seriously.
