Biography

When Harry was 9 weeks he stopped breathing in my arms which was the scariest thing I've been through. I'm used to it now and my Harry is one of the loveliest kids you'll ever meet. He's so funny and always does the same joke so I have to pretend I've never heard it and laugh hysterically.
He is amazing but has had quite a few struggles. Harry won't have anyone eating in front of him without having an anxiety attack. At Christmas or special occasions we can't go anywhere to eat out. Harry sits at his table at home in a different room and we can't even eat crisps in front of him.
Harry suffers from really bad night terrors especially when he was at his old school, where he was bullied. He has very bad meltdowns and gets very angry sometimes over the slightest little things.
He has struggled through the whole lock down with a fear of people being sick because when he gets sick he literally stops breathing. We spend most days in my bedroom. Harry sleeps with me due to the sleep apnea and we are going in to have another sleep study in Oxford.
Harry has been shielded and has been off school since November with a virus. Harry is in pain most days with his hypermobility, some days he can't walk.
Harry loves water play, he's constantly in our swimming pool in the garden. Harry is up most of the night only sleeping about 4 hours. They can't put him on any medication due to sleep apnea at the moment.
If I could change one thing about Harry it would be for him not be so scared about things and to not mask his feelings. I just look at him when he's really struggling with the world around him and literally melt.
We live at home with my mum, Harry loves her so much he is always in her room in the middle of the night wanting a chat about old days. My brother lives at home with us so I'm very lucky to have the support around me and so is Harry. Harry also has an older sister who is 21 and he loves going in the swimming pool with her.
I believe this blanket will help Harry not just only to sleep with but more of the comfort thing when he is having bad days.
