Biography

Erin has an inherited genetic syndrome. She has narrow pulmonary arteries and a small hole in the top chambers of her heart. This means that her heart has to work a lot harder to pump the blood to her lungs. She is currently stable and reviewed regularly for any changes to the pulmonary arteries.

She is under a number of consultants and as well as her heart she needs regular check ups/tests on her liver and kidneys. She is also vitamin D deficient and takes supplements for this prescribed by her liver consultant.

As a result of her condition she becomes tired and often relies on a buggy still and suffers headaches with exertion.
