Biography

Jonathan was a happy baby meeting his early milestones. Jonathan started having seizures just before Easter 2007. These became progressively more frequent and we spent lots of time in hospital. As a result of the seizures that developed into infantile spasms he regressed and was no longer able to hold his head or open his hands. Jonathan is non-verbal but makes lots of sounds.

We spent a lot of time doing therapy and Jonathan has exceeded all expectations and can now walk short distances. He has continued to have seizures daily and occasionally needs rescue medication. He has had a vns fitted and we tried the ketogenic diet.

Jonathan attends a special needs school. He is a very happy child.
