Thank you

There aren't enough "thank yous" in the world for the incredible quilt we have just received.

Williams smile made me cry and he now wants to go to bed! :D

Thank you to everyone that has put so much work and time into each square and Sandra for turning it into a work of art. My heart is so full and we are so grateful to each of you.

William thanks you all and I hope the picture shows how happy he is xxx

Biography

We knew before birth that William had some problems with his kidneys. At birth William wasn’t breathing and spent some time in special care. Once home we knew William wasn’t hitting milestones like other children and the doctors found 2 holes in his heart. William was sent for numerous tests and at 10 months old we got confirmation William has a rare genetic condition called Sotos Syndrome.

Alongside this William has severe kidney reflux and is at risk of losing his right kidney. William has a suprapubic catheter fitted. William also suffers with epilepsy and has had 12 surgeries/general anaesthetics in the last 3 years. These have included surgery on his brain, kidneys and bladder.
