Biography

Poppy was 2 months old when she was in hospital for poor weight gain and she unexpectedly suffered from a cardiac arrest due to a previously unknown complex cardiac issue. She was rushed to critical care where she suffered another cardiac arrest. She stayed on a ventilator until after her life saving cardiac surgery when unfortunately, while she was on heart bypass, a blood clot went to her brain and burst her vessels due to pressure. She suffered a suspected stroke and consequently was diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

She is now 5 years of age and has defied odds now that she’s walking and is loving life especially her specialist provision school.
