Biography

Noah was born in 2020 along with his twin sister Naima. Noah was diagnosed with ALL Leukaemia in May. During the induction phase of treatment Noah developed a fungal infection that spread to his brain and caused a stroke in June. He was admitted to GOSH and stayed there for 70 days getting treatment for the fungal infection whilst also getting some chemo. He needed extensive rehabilitation while there and now he’s learnt to walk and talk again whilst coping with his left side being still weak and some loss of peripheral vision.

He is now into maintenance phase of treatment whilst still receiving oral fungal medicine daily. He has just started his referral placement at the Children’s Trust for children with brain injuries and we hope here he can work on his fine motor skills.
