Biography

Kahlan progressed very quickly and was very able. At around 2 years we noticed her learning had slowed down. She also used to stare into space and eye flutter. By the time Kahlan was 5 she was known as the child who lived in lala land at school and then she started wetting. Within 2 weeks Kahlan was diagnosed with absence seizures and started medication. The medication stopped the wetting and decreased the seizures but did not get rid of the eye rolling.

After many hospital visits and scans she was finally diagnosed with Jeavons, a really rare and life long epilepsy resistant to medication. During this time she was also diagnosed with ADHD. Kahlan struggles emotionally and academically and her medication can really effect her.
