Child Interests

Ellis loves music and sounds. He loves animal sounds & nursery rhymes.

He loves his little hedgehog toy that makes a noise and we have a special song that I sing to him - You’ve got a friend in me, from Toy Story.

I have chosen colour themed as Ellis’ preference as I think we could also use it as sensory for his vision therapy.

Biography

Ellis was born in 2022 with nothing detected on scans or tests, until he became unwell & we were admitted when he was 10 days old.

Ellis has had multiple tests, scans & treatments until we received the diagnosis in July. The diagnosis is extremely rare & there are only 65 cases reported worldwide.

Ellis has multiple challenges - he has hypotonia, severe epilepsy, infantile spasms & a visual impairment. Ellis is the happiest baby ever. He is such a loving & smiling sweetheart, even after such a really tough year with multiple hospital admissions & an intensive care admission.
