Biography

Molly was born with MMIHS. This means that she has no muscles in her digestive system or bladder. Molly is unable to eat any food or drink and has a Hickman central line so she can receive her nutrition. Molly is dependent on TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition). This is given IV via her central line at home for 16 hours a day. Molly is also catheterised. She has a mini button for drainage of her stomach acid. She also has a stoma bag.

Molly became very poorly with chickenpox and spent 3 weeks in intensive care due to severe sepsis in May 2022. Molly has just got out of hospital again November 2023 after having kidney stones and one getting stuck! Molly is definitely a fighter and always has a smile on her face.
