Biography

With a textbook pregnancy and labour Alexander Jamie (AJ) was born. It was at his 10 month health visitor review where it was flagged that he was not meeting all his milestones as he should have. AJ is a 5 year old boy diagnosed with Global Development Delay (GDD) and epilepsy. AJ is an only child and lives with both mum and dad. He is a social, calm, and happy character with a cheeky personality. AJ has had a full genetics testing which showed no results to any syndromes. AJ is severely delayed for his age in a number of developmental areas. He is non mobile and non verbal.

We are fundraising with the children’s charity Tree of Hope for therapies for AJ to be more independent and hopefully be able to take his first steps. AJ works hard on his developmental delay through his therapies and activities. He absolutely loves swimming and has weekly one to one sessions and attends a group SEN session. AJ also enjoys horse riding and attends a weekly session.
