Biography

Zachary was diagnosed antenatally. He was a floppy child, wasn’t able to hold his head and was unable to sit unaided till he was 1 years old and didn’t learn to walk till he was 2 and 1/2. He was never able to run and struggled with his speech. He struggled with lots of falls and used a wheelchair from the age of 3, losing the ability to walk at 7 then using a powerchair.

He is a happy child and enjoys watching Marvel films and gaming. He has a passion for Spiderman.

He sees numerous doctors regularly to check his heart, muscles, respiratory, and back bones and smiles at every appointment despite some awful news at times. He struggles with everyday things and is now also losing his arm strength. He still smiles and laughs every day.
