Biography

Lucas was normally a well and fit child. Before diagnosis he loved football and played for 2 teams as goalkeeper. Lucas was more tired than usual and started getting pains in his shoulder. The pain then spread to his other shoulder and then to his knee and he started limping. Lucas had some bloods taken at the GP and the results flagged up.

We were then admitted into hospital where further tests were carried out which unfortunately confirmed leukaemia. Lucas has had a few problems, one resulting in a blood clot and bleed on the pain due to chemotherapy. Lucas has had a few periods where he is unable to walk due to pain and has his good days and bad. Lucas is such a kind sensitive boy and is being so brave.
