Biography

Addison is a wonderful little girl, full of joy and brings energy and happiness to all around her. She's struggled with her adhd which was apparent unfortunately since birth. Although this influenced very early crawling and walking with her energy levels, it had its challenges along the way with safety and risks. When we were out and about her family are always on hand to lend a safe hand and gentle reminder to her to stay safe.

She struggled with sleep since birth which had an impact on the family due to her having melt downs at night time around being unable to settle and most nights would sleep for only 2 to 3 hours before being awake again for the day. Once she was assessed and diagnosed at 7 years old and medicated both for her adhd and sleep problems she came on in leaps and bounds.

Addison struggled until primary 3 to even be able to focus to write her own name and learn the phonics alphabet. She uses special needs learning support equipment in school with various aids like speech to txt so she can participate in class tasks like story writing.

Addison will be so grateful and over the moon to receive her quilt and we are all so grateful as a family unit for this being done for her. She's such a special child and those rare moments we can capture her focus to read a story together or watch a family movie she will thoroughly enjoy having her own special quilt to snuggle in with.
