Wow, I just received the quilt and it actuallyl made me cry. It's absolutely incredible on another level and my son is so so so happy he's sleeping with it tonght. You are all absolutely incredible.

Biography

Brodie was born at 27+6 he was 900g, and survived 6 retroplacental blood clots, placenta previa, a partial abruption, no waters and sepsis. He fought so hard to survive. He was in nicu until 6 months of age where he's been tube fed his whole life as he has never had a safe swallow and doesn't gain weight. Brodie has fought croup and bronchitis when he stopped breathing multiple times.

Brodie is about to be 4 and still has an unsafe swallow, he doesn't speak, he has autism and a processing delay. He is a tiny 13kg and a bundle of chaos, but he is a beautiful smiley boy who fought double brain bleeds, fought nearly dying multiple times and still to this day fights. One day I hope life will be kinder to him and he can begin to be safe to have an ice cream with his siblings and enjoy a Christmas dinner but for now we will continue to work and help the best we can.
