Biography

From the age of 2 Millie has shown signs of autism. This has been lining things up, selective mutism in school settings, avoiding eye contact and people and she struggles forming friendships. This increasingly became more noticeable as she grew older, but was always managed.

Upon starting high school she struggled a lot more, but was seen as a naughty child and attention seeker, leading to her mental health declining. Eventually we did get put on the GDA pathway and finally got her ASD diagnosis this year which has made her happy and able to understand herself a bit more.
