Biography

Harley is my 10 year old son, he is profoundly disabled and has spent much of 2017 in intensive care and the high dependency unit, on ventilator.

He was born with extensive brain damage and has spent his life being diagnosed with more medical conditions as he has grown.

We are currently in hospital, miles away from home, awaiting his surgery for a tracheostomy for long term ventilation, without this he will not live.

Along with all of his complex medical problems, his severe brain damage means he cannot regulate his temperature and so is always cold and we have to manually warm him, a love quilt would be so lovely to help keep him warm and brighten his hospital bed.
