Biography

Brandon was born 9 weeks prem, and diagnosed with CF by routine guthrie test. He was unable to live with his birth family, so he was adopted at 20 months.

He suffers bowel problems, persistent abdominal pain and severe difficulty eating, exacerbated by poor appetite. He struggles to maintain a healthy weight. He has to take about 25 tablets a day, more if unwell. He has to have physiotherapy or breathing exercises twice a day to keep his lungs healthy.

He has some developmental delays especially in his fine motor skills, so finds writing and drawing difficult.
He had to have emergency bowel surgery at 4 years old to correct a twisted bowel.
