Adam was born with no complications, he was a happy content baby. At around 3 months he began choking on feeds and was extremely unsettled to the point of been inconsolable. Adam continued to choke on feeds and he development regressed. He was unable to sit up or move around like he did. Tests were carried out and it was discovered that Adam had Leigh's disease, a degenerative brain disorder that is life limiting.

Adam has good days and bad weeks, he has periods of developmental regression so is continually trying to regain skills that he has previously lost.

Adam is such a happy cheeky boy who has a fantastic personality. His smile is my world.
