Archie even in this heat wave hasn’t taken it off .... such amazing creative kind people .. thank you all for making this for Archie .. it will make hospital trips and bedtime so much more comforting... but thank you most for showing kindness and love .. it means so much to all of Archie’s family XX

Biography

Archie is a beautiful 13 year old. Archie is one of 5 brothers and like Archie, two of his other brothers have autism. It was recognised quite early, Archie had delays and wasn’t meeting milestones. He suffers absence seizures and we have had many stays in hospital.

Archie recently has been quite poorly with chronic vascular urticaria. He has been in such pain and discomfort with swelling of different parts of the body, and welts on his feet. We are still under addenbrooks trying to find why this is happening. It’s left Archie’s behaviour relentless at times and we have to do lots of self calming, so this quilt will be such a personal blessing - lots of cuddles in bed.
