Biography

Jaxson was first diagnosed with feeding problems before the age of 2. Slowly he stopped intake orally and when he had tests done this showed he had a condition called EOE and he was started on tube feeding. We also found out a while later he lacks in growth hormone. This means he is small for his age. At 6 years old he had an ileostomy performed due to constipation affecting his daily life causing him pain and distress.

Recently he has been diagnosed with Autism and intellectual disability. This means he is delayed in all areas of life skills. Jaxson is currently attached to a feed pump for around 18 hours a day which limits the activities he can do. Recently he had a diagnosis of motor development delay and he is hypermobile. This means he is also unable to always join in with activities his friends may do.

Sometimes Jaxson is too unwell to stay at home and spends a lot of time in hospital
