Biography

Felicity was a happy, healthy little girl enjoying her time in nursery and learning how to count and play. Two weeks after her 3rd birthday Felicity had a fall in nursery and cut her lip, she was a bit quiet, and not herself. I called my GP who said it was probably viral but as it was the start of the COVID pandemic they said to watch her.
I felt uneasy and took her to the local A&E and just after midnight I was given the heartbreaking news that she had cancer and was being transferred to Alderhay and would need a blood transfusion immediately.

Felicity has spent most of the past almost 3 years in hospital, now relying on a wheelchair or walking frame most days. She is in constant pain and takes strong medication.
The chemotherapy has caused ongoing potentially lifelong issues.
