BiographyLiam had a seizure on day 4 after birth with a bleed on his brainstem. He suffered an HIE event. He also had bowel ops and feeding issues.
We fostered Liam, he was in care at that time, and applied to be his guardians. Due to our age our son and daughter-in-law have also stepped in.
Liam has had various ops, he has had a blocked bowel, tracheostomy, and awaits an op for his dislocated hip and he is gastrostomy fed.
Due to excess tracheostomy secretions Liam has not attended school since May. He is Non-verbal but smiles continuously, he does not cry which at times is upsetting as we know he must be in pain.
