After being a emotional wreck for the past days I'm finally putting myself together to send my dearest appreciation...
Eric got his Amazing Quilt this Friday.. he cant stop talking about it.... he wants to be on it all day chilling on his computer and checking all the different squares.
I'm still without words to express how grateful I'm for this charity... each off you that make these happen not only for my boy, but for all the kids that are so lucky to have a quilt from you all.
Thank you as well to let me be part of this great group and giving a little back for other children.

Biography

Eric was diagnosed when he was 1 and a half years old.
Some symptoms were there for a few months but my husband and I never thought we would be in this type of situation so couldn't pin down what was going on. Eric had eczema since he was 3 months old and I was advised to take some items from my diet because I was still breastfeeding. When we took him to the GP with all his lymph nodes enlarged they said it was probably just some reaction from his allergies.

A few months later Eric stopped walking. We went to A&E and as soon as the doctor looked at him he asked me if he was always that pale. After x-rays of his legs and chest they collect some blood. We are so grateful that the doctor that saw us was so fast on the right tests. From there everything started, Eric needed blood and platelet transfusions straight away.

This journey is tough but all the amazing people that we are meeting on the way make everything more bearable. Eric is an amazing 4 year old boy with so much ahead of him. His life is just beginning and I'm sure will be fantastic.
