I cannot express my gratitude more to all those who have made my little Loren's day x to all involved and everyone on here doing these beautiful quilts for our young ones, a humongous thank you, cuddles and kisses from Loren x it's a stunning quilt and as soon as she opened it she rolled all over it to see the pictures x huge thank you to Jenny for putting it all together fantastic job and the gorgeous ladies giving up their spare time to take time out to do these wonderful squares I'm very humbled x Loren will love and adore her quilt for ever x made with extra special love loved by an extra special girl big thank you x to Kat, Gaynor and Mrs T and anyone I have forgotten behind the scenes, I'm extremely grateful you have put LoveQuiltsUK together x forever in your debt xxxxx One very happy girl xxx

Biography

Loren is very complex and at mo we have thirty seven members of our team and are currently on the DDD project to hopefully get an answer.

Loren is totally nil by mouth and classed as life limited because she aspirated daily on her own saliva. We have had numerous occasions where we spend long periods in hospital mainly for respiratory problems.

She is a superb daughter who smiles loads and even though she cannot talk, walk, sit or communicate much she is a blessing. She is wheelchair bound and we have made a sensory corner for her in the front room which she loves but we do struggle with toys for her as she has severely deformed hands and fingers and a lot of deformity on her left side.

She has only been able to hold her head up this past six months and is getting stronger by the day. She is one of six of my children and we cope. But it is very hard to meet the needs of all of my children. We didn't know Loren was going to be like this until she was born not breathing and struggled to do so as well as feeding for ages. But after her gastrostomy she has grown a bit and put on weight and is more comfortable.

We bless every day we have with her and do as much we can for our family and the charities that are helping with her care. She is an amazing little girl and has a smile that says a thousand silent words xxxxx
