Biography

When Jayden was was born we found out he had a heart condition. It was then confirmed to be pulmonary stenosis and supervalular stenosis, so at 3 months he has open heart surgery. Scary stuff, then for about 6 months after it he was just irritible and swelling up and down never smiled. I kept taking him to doctor and in the end I was taking him nearly 3 times a week!

One morning I took him up and Jayden's eyes and tummy and face were so swollen he was taken to hospital and diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome. He had to have a kidney biopsy and this confirmed FSGS.

We found out about this about 8 months ago He spent 2 months in the hospital and goes for albumin twice weekly.

Some weeks are more days in hospital for his heart or his nephrologist to see him or, like a few weeks ago, his line broke. The plan is to have albumin which he receives through his Hickman Line for another year and half, then dialysis then hopefully a successful transplant
