Just to let you know Mathew's quilt has arrived today! I have not seen it yet as Ellie had an operation last Friday and is on HDU. Mathew and my husband went home today as Mathew is going to the hospice tomorrow for a couple of days and he says it is lovely! I will post photos when we are all together! Thank you so much you lovely ladies for the work and love you have put into the quilt and I can't wait to see it xxxx

Biography

We adopted Mathew who had cp from birth, he came to live with us at 18 months old. Unfortunly his seizures became uncontrollable and medication do not work! We have been told that he could die from this. He has also inquired a platelet disorder which means that he bleeds easily and we have to be extra vigilant if he bleeds! He also is fed by a tube into is bowel as he is unable to absorb food problary which was done this year. Mathew meets the local children's hospice criteria due to his conditions are life threating and he could die at any time.
