We have one very happy little girl, Lucy's quilt arrived a few days ago, Lucy has cystic fibrosis and autism, she squealed when she saw it, in her words "I'm so happy to cry" (in other words, she's so happy she could cry)
Thank you to each and every one of the stitchers, and quilters, it really is a beautiful quilt, which will be a comfort when she has to go to hospital

Biography

Lucy was born with cystic fibrosis, and was diagnosed at 2 weeks old. When Lucy was 11 months, she was seriously ill with a chest infection and had to be rushed to hospital. It took the doctors and nurses all night to get Lucy stable. Thankfully she came through it.

Children with CF have to spend a lot of time in hospital and the quilts give them comfort. (she loved her sister's under the sea theme, also a CF sufferer).
